For a loooong time, a "W" or "L" flag has been flown at Wrigley Field after games to indicate to the people in the neighborhood whether the Cubs won or lost. While I enjoy seeing the "W" flag flying around town, I'm with you in wishing people would actually pay attention to what's going on and take them down when the Cubbies lose.
