A Good Year for the Outlaw

Joe Scarborough had this to say about Jon Stewart this week:

“A politician stumbles over himself,” MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough said on his own program. “Then they pick it out. They edit it. He runs the clip, and then he makes a funny face, and the whole audience has a Pavlovian response. And you know what? It’s really easy to be a comedian and take those cheap shots.”

Well, Joe, if it’s “really easy” to do it, then why are there only two guys (Stewart and Steve Colbert) doing it and doing it right? Face it, unfunny people from both the left and right: Jon Stewart is a genius, and the only REAL, TRUE news we get on TV anymore is from these two guys.
