A headline today from AFP declares:
The story tells how Al-Qaeda forces in Iraq are shrinking. Â
Of course, there’s no mention of the fact that Al-Qaeda wasn’t even in Iraq until sometime after March, 2003. But why quibble with historical fact when there’s a dog to be wagged.

By GOD they’re shrinking, but the battle isn’t over! No, Al Qaeda won’t be successfully defeated until the sharehold…PEOPLE have been satisfied and the whole of the country is divided up between the areas of oil outpu…ETHNIC regions, yes, ethnic regions, so that attacks on our faciliti…er, that is, so the attacks on EACH OTHER will become increasingly unlikely. Believe in Jesus and GOD BLESS ‘MERICA!!!1

“You are right, BJ – they were in America then.”
So instead of getting rid of them here, we go ahead and invade another nation that DIDN’T have the problem of al-Qaeda, and start one for them. Is that what you’re saying?
Great plan.
And yes, I’m right.

Reno – good stuff. Still a little ticked about the “owned” comment on the other thread, but this is good stuff.
