Yes, TV really is that bad. It’s reruns, or “reality” shows (or “reality” show reruns). I hate “reality” shows. First, they have nothing to do with reality. Second, I watch TV to escape reality. So, perhaps I’d like them, if they called them “non-reality” shows. . . . No, it doesn’t matter what they’d call them, I’d still hate them. I’ll stick to sports and movies.

You don’t read well, do you Mouse? I said “before going outside”. I spent most of yesterday outside, attending various Hog Days events here in Kewanee. MUCH better than watching TV.

I guess I’m not allowed to make observations anymore?

Shut up and watch the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon*, for crying out loud. Watch it for 15 minutes, call in and make a donation, and then GO OUTSIDE – it is a BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY WEEKEND.

*As someone with one of the 40+ neuro-muscular diseases covered by MDA USA, I know the research they are doing is spectacular. No organization is further along the path of gene-therapy than MDA USA.

Another “ugh”. I did see a funny on VH1 about “Murder, She Wrote”, where the comedian said “that little town in Maine must have the highest per-capita murder rate in the world…what, 50 people lived there and there was a murder every week?”

I never watched it, my grandparents loved it. Didn’t they have chase scenes with walkers and oxygen tanks on that show?

Speaking of VH1, they ran a “Flavor of Love” marathon yesterday. Boy, holiday weekend viewing was awful.
