A Good Year for the Outlaw

Which party has a female candidate for president? Which one has an Hispanic candidate? Which one has a black candidate? Guess what: It ain’t the GOWMP. (Grand Old White Male Party).  And a bigger question…why are they not being called on it?  What happened to Colin Powell? Where’s Elizabeth Dole? I’ll answer that: the powers that be in the party don’t think these people, who are in one case not white and the other not male, could get “the base” (i.e. Fundamentalist christians) to vote for them. Sad, because both would be better candidates than the majority that has been rolled out for us to see.
